So as my sweet little Crissy MARIE (I know your middle name) Mathers mentioned yesterday we have developed a little pen pal relationship. It all started when I was pregnant with Codi and she sent me the most thoughtful package with a great little diaper clutch for Codi, chocolate for me and some coloring stuff for Brandon. I returned the favor sending her home baked goodies and from then on we have had a little mail relationship. She usually sends chocolate at just the right time. I returned the favor with some funky trinkets from a favorite store. However this time shes totally in trouble. Shes been harrassing me to read this book for a while now. I have made fun of her proclaiming I had no interest in Vampires. So, taking matters in her own hands I walked out to my doorstep yesterday to find that a certain Miss Mathers had sent me the book. Leaving me no choice but to read it. I picked it up last night at 5pm thinking I would read a chapter and add it to my stack of books. At 10pm last night I was at chapter ten and willing my eyes to stay open. This morning I was on chapter 15 cursing the fact that I had to go to work. I'm told this is a series of books and now I know exactly what I will be buying with the money I've been stashing away every month from BlogHer ads! So Cris, thank you but also FUCK YOU for getting me TOTALLY HOOKED ON A GODDAMN VAMPIRE BOOK!!!!!!!

Hahahahaha! I read them all that way too...and I don't like anything to do with vampires or blood. They are lovely.

Dang. I have it on my Christmas list to my hubbs, but I think I may have to read it sooner because now he wants to see the movie!
Dang. i think I am going to be the last person on the face of the earth to read that series. It just looks so LONG!

JIff, just read Twilight then you can watch the movie, I think they made an actuall law saying you cant watch the twilight movie unless you read the book. You can pu tthe other 3 on your christmass list, altho if you read the first you well be done with all 4 by the time christmass comes..i promise!
two other bloggers that I read (zephra, and ginger) both are in love with that series, so I've made one of them promise to let me borrow the book. (see, look at me...saving $$ by borrowing instead of buying....)
As much as I have resisted it, I have a feeling I will succumb sooner than later.

Shannon is on book 3 and I think she just got the first one 3 days ago. Today she was busted bring it to work and I had to tell her to take it home. She has not set them down since she got the first one. She had to run out and buy the next 3 she is crazy about them.
This is one of my favorite series Shanny and you know I am not into books like this! But these books didn't make it all about the vampires they have meaning! I couldn't set down any of these books I read the first 2 in a day and had to wait for the third and fourth books to come out. I am going to see the movie as soon as it come out!
