Product review = awesome

When I was putting my diaper bag together this time I wanted to put in a small baby shampoo, lotion and rash cream. I like natural stuff so I usually use the Johnsons natural wash and lotion because it smells freaking amazing. Anyway Ginger and I went all over the place and we couldn't find mini bottles of the Johnsons natural so I started looking elsewhere. I hate the plain old Johnsons and I don't like Desitin. While we were at Target we saw this cute little pack and I thought it couldn't be that bad to throw in the diaper bag. It is natural and good for the baby so I would give it a shot.
I basically ignored it until this weekend at my moms house while we were changing Codi. He has had this little rash that actually started out as baby pimples but morphed into an irritation and would not go away. The Aveeno rash cream wasn't phasing it. Anyway I grabbed this cream and told Rob to toss some on so he at least had something on.

When we got home I went to change Codi and was shocked to see the rash was significantly better. I changed him and put the Aveeno back on since that is what is on my changing table. The next diaper change the rash was back. I ran to Target and bought a large size of the rash cream 3oz for $8.99 and tried it out. Over night his rash is almost completely gone. I was totally shocked at how well and how quick this cream worked. It is much thicker then both the Aveeno and Desitin. It has a nice lavander herby smell to it and isn't greasy on my fingers. I love love love this product and now I'm dying to go out and buy the wash and lotion and see how that works also. Target was out of the lotion yesterday so I'm going to see if Whole Foods has it today.

I LOVE Burt's Bees. The hand cream for grownups is awesome Shannon and so is the lip balm. I really like the tinted balms because my lips can't handle lipstick. If you can't find it at Whole Foods, Trader Joe's carries it and so does Walgreens if you have either of those by you.

I have never tried burt's bees products yet, but Kristin over at blogging baby wrote a post before that their shampoo does not contain any sodium lauryl sulfate (stuff that makes foam), which apparently enters the blood stream and isn't good for you.

After I read that, I checked every shampoo and soap bottle in my shower and it's impossible to find stuff without it.

Anyhow, I'm STILL using the billion baby shampoos that I got from my shower with Ava. Seriously. I'm stocked for years.

I love Burt's Bees too. When I wear make-up that is what I wear. They have this awesome Almond butter hand cream too. It smells so good and makes your hands super soft. It is a little on the oily side but my hands get so dry from washing my hands so much at work. I put it on at night and sleep with it on and when I wake up my hands feel so good.

Thanks for sharing. I haven't tried the Burt's Bees Baby products yet but I love the adult stuff. I've had really good luck with the Gentle Naturals baby products sold at Target, Kroger, Walmart, etc. They are a little more expensive but they cleared up a rash that Aveeno didn't work on plus his cradle cap. He has been rash free and cradle cap free ever since. We use the body wash, baby ezcema lotion and cradle cap shampoo.

I use pretty much ALL Burt's Bees (adult) products! Hands down, my all time favorite!! So it doesn't surprise me that the baby stuff would work so good.

We love burts bees products and California Baby products too. Sounds like Cody has a yeast infection though from your description. If this rash isn't better yet just try generic yeast infection 7 day cream.

Totally agree, well actually I don't know about the diaper rash, but I used the Burts Bees chapstick and I love it. And surprisingly so does my hubby, who doesn't like chapstick.

great great stuff.
not the cheapest, but GREAT stuff.

I love the buttermilk bath for me. I've used the chapstick and buttermilk lotion for years.
And I put a little of the apricot oil in Henry's bath water...hmmm smells yummy and makes him all soft.
