Back before Julia went all nutso over one stupid post I wrote and turned her whole life private I had loaned her two books. One of them was a gift from my good friend Katie. Well now I want my books back because they were pregnancy related and again one was a gift. Sooo since Julia freaked out and went all super secret private I can't even send her a myspace message. I contacted her friend Angie and asked her to pass along the message and I sent her a cell phone text with no reply. Personally I think that when she went on her little anti Shannon mission she should have sent them back then. So what do I do? I want my books back how do I get them?

Ummm that would PISS ME OFF- but yeah if you have asked for them and she has ignored you then there really doesn't seem to be a whole lot you can do... See Shannon?! THIS is why I have issues with lending people stuff!

This sucks! She is immature for not just sending them back with a friend. It's the least she could do.

send her a short note in the mail, saying you want YOUR books back. snail mail is kinda lame, but what other choice do you have if she went all privtate? either that or kiss them goodbye.
My guess is that she still reads your blog to see if you've said anything else about her. So what I'd do is do a blog post about the missing books and hope she then suddenly remembers that she wouldn't want anything of yours in her house. But my guess is that the books are gone. I would re-purchase them and consider them the cost of your other post about her. But it's too bad about the gift one. Maybe if you sent her a little note saying you know things are bad between you right now but could you please have back your books, one of which was a gift from a friend. Then give her an easy way to get them to you without having to see you, like telling her where she can drop them off (maybe with a mutual friend).
apparently since you wrote me on myspace...she responded so I think you can see on my myspace that you will get your books back...not sure how I got stuck in the middle of this but kinda lame
You know she has a new blog that isn't private right? Or at least I can access it from Stephanie's page so I am guessing it isn't private...maybe try leaving her a comment, otherwise i would kiss them goodbye...I've lost stuff the same way.
